Packing & Unpacking
We box it, wrap it, and label it by room — so nothing arrives broken and nothing takes a week to find.
- Boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, and tape — brought to you, not billed as a surprise
- Dish packs and cell dividers for glassware, and wardrobe boxes so hanging clothes stay on their hangers
- Every box labeled with its contents and its destination room, so nothing gets opened twice
Furniture Assembly & Disassembly
Beds, wardrobes, and flat-pack builds taken apart to clear tight Philly staircases, then rebuilt where you want them.
- Disassembly of beds, bed frames, tables, wardrobes, shelving, and cribs before the move
- All hardware bagged, labeled, and taped to the piece it belongs to — the single biggest reason things get rebuilt correctly
- Reassembly in the room you want it, leveled and tightened, not just stood up
Single-Item & Labor-Only Moves
One couch, one piano, one appliance — or two movers to load the truck you already rented.
- Two experienced movers, a truck sized for the piece, and all the blankets, straps, and dollies
- Pickup from a store, a warehouse, or a stranger's living room, and delivery into the room you want it
- Stair carries — including third-floor walk-ups, which is most of what we do

Questions we get asked most
How much does a local move in Philadelphia cost?
It depends on the crew size, the hours, and the stairs — which is why we quote after a walkthrough rather than over the phone. What we can tell you up front is that the hourly rate covers the truck, the crew, and all the blankets, wrap, and floor protection. There is no separate materials line item for a standard move.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to three weeks for a normal weekday, and four or more if you're moving on the first of the month, on a weekend, or over the University City lease turnover at the end of August. Those dates fill first every year.
Do I need a parking permit?
On most West Philly, Center City, Fairmount, and South Philly blocks, yes. A temporary no-parking permit comes from the Philadelphia Parking Authority and needs a few days' lead time. Without a spot near your door, the long carry adds real hours to the bill, so it's usually the cheapest thing you'll buy all move.
Can you move me on the same day I call?
Sometimes, for smaller jobs and single items. Call or text and we'll tell you honestly what we have open rather than taking the booking and rescheduling you later.
What won't you move?
Anything flammable, corrosive, or explosive — propane, gasoline, paint thinner, aerosols. We'll also ask you to personally carry passports, medication, cash, and jewelry. Those should stay with you rather than ride in a truck.
Do you move out of state?
Not currently. We're a local Philadelphia and suburbs mover — the city, the Main Line, and Delaware County. If you're moving out of state we'd rather point you elsewhere than take a job we're not set up for.
