Beds, wardrobes, and flat-pack builds taken apart to clear tight Philly staircases, then rebuilt where you want them.
Philadelphia's housing stock predates flat-pack furniture by about a century, and it shows on the stairs. A great deal of what we do on any given move is taking a bed or a wardrobe apart so it clears a landing, then rebuilding it upstairs. We also do assembly as a standalone job — if you bought a piece and the instructions have already defeated you, we'll come build it, level it, and take the cardboard away.

How it works
- 1 Send us the piece — a model name, a link, or a photo is enough — and where it needs to end up.
- 2 We check whether it needs to come apart at all, or whether it will clear your stairs assembled.
- 3 We take it down carefully, bag and label the hardware, and wrap the panels so edges don't get chewed in transit.
- 4 At the other end we rebuild it in place, level it, tighten everything, and anchor it to the wall if it's tall.

Frequently asked
Can you assemble furniture without doing the move?
Yes. Standalone assembly is a normal booking for us — same hourly crew, usually a much shorter job.
Will an IKEA piece survive being taken apart and rebuilt?
Usually, but honestly not always. Particleboard cam-lock joints weaken every time they're opened. We'll tell you before we start if we think a specific piece is a one-move item, so you can decide whether it's worth carrying.
What if hardware is missing?
We carry common bolts, cam locks, and dowels and can often fill the gap on the spot. If something proprietary is missing we'll identify exactly what to order rather than forcing a substitute.
Do you take the packaging away?
Yes — flattened cardboard and foam go with us. That's usually worth the booking on its own after a big delivery.
